Happy Birthday Jai Arrow. The red pen is back. A golden point finish. And Bart Simpson owes you a beer.
Let’s start with the most important part.
Our generous sponsor wants to spend his impending winnings by shouting us all a beer this Saturday. More information can be found below.
Happy Birthday Jai Arrow

What a great day the NRL, Rabbitohs and Knights put together to celebrate Jai Arrow’s 31st birthday.
The day was fantastic, even the weather gods played their role. I have to say I was a bit shocked to see how far this terrible disease has already impacted Jai. My thoughts go out to him, his family and friends.
The game itself saw the Rabbitohs hold off a fast-finishing Knights to win. But Newcastle blew this game. Four disallowed tries in the first half and a wayward Kalyn Ponga pass to Dom Young in the final minute of the match cost them dearly.
But not many predicted the massacres at Redcliffe or Homebush either.
The Upsets

The ‘Phins minus Origin players have always put up a fight to a point where they had won eight in a row. Now, they have a really nice boutique ground being Kayo Stadium, but the locals would not have expected such a drubbing that the dreaded red pen would come out and wipe their premiership hopes to 2027.
The Sharks managed to more than double their for/against differential in one game with Nicho Hynes scoring 30 points alone.
The Sharkies can be a hard team to follow but not quite in the league of the Raiders.
The Raiders big win over the Bulldogs reinforces the talent they have in their team and makes me question why I would think the Doggies were going to win this one.
The Dogs were back to their three tries maximum best.
Manly Gone

The Cowboys defeated the Sea Eagles in a Golden Point thriller needing just one field goal attempt to kick themselves to victory.
The Sea Eagles now sit outside the Top 8 (hooray), are two wins outside the Top 4 and have the 3rd best for/against differential. They should be a lot higher.
Perhaps Foz-ball is a bit like Benji-Ball with both teams fizzing out? Some (me) can only hope.
In Other Games
The Wests Tigers scored one try off a Warriors in-goal fumble. That was their highlight. The Wah’s ran away 32-6 victors but should have scored as many points in the 1st half alone. Especially with 12 line breaks to 2.
The Roosters and Storm won.

The Standout
82% correct this week which means the remaining Tipsters were either unlucky or adventurous.
Main Competition
The average was 2.6 so if you scored 5 like most at the top of the ladder, not much changed. Unless you are MB, UpthePamfers or iTerry.
Second Competition
The most consistent Tipster for the final 10 rounds will win this which can be absolutely anyone. Just ask Westy who sits 47th in the Main Comp and 2nd here.
Bart Simpson Weekly Jackpot

Still no winner this week which means the Bart Simpson Weekly Jackpot stands at a season record high of B$120.
As always, good luck with your team and tipping.
