There are some cracker games this weekend.

Thursday Night Football

Manly’s winning run came to another end last week against the Sharks. The Bunnies only win in the past six weeks was against the Sharkies. Hmmm…

We can only hope but Sea Eagles (unfortunately) this week.

Friday Night Football

What a great night of football!

The Storm start favourites having won 3 of their last 4 games. That’s right nobody remembers the seven games before this. They take on a consistent Knights team that is perched in the top four.

I can’t believe I’m back on the Storm bandwagon.

This will be a cracker of a game and is followed by another cracker when the Raiders host the Roosters.

Roosters will be too strong here.

Super Saturday

Well, it’s Super Saturday north of the border.

All four Queensland teams done and dusted in two games. How good for the Queenslanders. How good for the rest of us.

The Broncos enter in near identical circumstance as last year having been beaten by the Dragons 30-26 and taking on the Titans in those awesome black jerseys. Is this history repeating itself?

And the winner is… Queensland.

Sunday Football

Sunday has two Sydney derbies with the Wests Tigers v Panthers and Sharks v Dragons.

Both games will be fascinating to watch. On paper they should be one-sided, but these matches will be personal for the fans.

The Wests Tigers v Panthers both at their home ground of CommBank Stadium.

I sense a standout coming out of the battle of the cats.

Can the Dragons make it two in a row? I highly doubt it. The Sharks are virtually unstoppable at home during the day.

King’s Birthday Monday

What an exhausting round. And we have saved the best to last with the Bulldogs v Eels.

Will this be entertaining. Yes. Will this be a scoring bonanza? Nope. Expect the round to finish with a grind.
