Footy Tipper 2026 – Round 10 Wrap

Some big wins mean big loses. Here is what caught my eye this week.

Storm Clouds In Tiger Town

Up there Cazaly. No stopping Will Warbrick.

The Storm are back. Finally. And they looked the goods too. Cam Munster and Harry Grant have dusted off any pre-Origin cobwebs and doubts to run circles around the Tigers.

Two late consolation tries to the Wests Tigers may have made the score look more flattering, but the reality is they have let in nearly 100 points in two weeks. Benji has got some work to do before they play the highflying Sea Eagles in Magic Round.

The Storm play the struggling Eels and Bulldogs in the next fortnight that could see them put some daylight between them and last placed Dragons.

Cowboys Roped In

Mitch Moses kicking not a 1 point or 2 point, but 3 point field goal in Golden Point.

What an entertaining game to watch. Nobody gave the Eels any chance, except for Tipster blakey86 who was Robinson Crusoe in this match.

The Cowboys can be their own worst enemies. They had all the control, all the stats, the scoreboard. They should have iced this game. Except they made 18 errors against an Eels team that was completing at 91%.

Two Eels tries in the dying minutes of the match was enough to take this game into golden point. And as just bizarre the match was, so was the conclusion with Mitch Moses fouled as he kicked the winning field goal then award a penalty right in front that had to be kicked.

The Eels winning by 3 points.

Big Wins. Big Loses.

The Dolphins and Knights were way to strong against two of the worst attacking teams in the competition.

The Bulldogs still won’t make the changes every commentator is saying and will continue to struggle to score points. While the Dragons had a fortnight to get ready and played Gutho in the centres and Sloan at fullback. Both were turnstiles in defence with Sloan lacking any creative flair.

The Doggies will open Magic Round against the Sharks who offered very little against a Rabbitohs team minus Latrell Mitchell. The Dragons will be in a world of hurt closing Magic Round against competition favourites Panthers.

In Other Games

A flying Sea Eagle about to score.

How much fun did those Sea Eagles fans look to be having on the hill and in the stands at Brookvale. They were outstanding again extending their 16 year home domination against the Broncos.

The Panthers are the team to beat after disposing of the Raiders in Canberra. Both teams had perfect first halves completing at 100% but something had to give and the Panthers look unstoppable again.

The Rabbitohs swapped Latrell Mitchell with Latrell Siegwalt who was outstanding kicking six goals against the Sharks.

The Standout

Not a good week for the three Tipsters who thought the Cows were a sure thing. Including former competition leader UpthePamfers.

For the rest of us, 94% correct.

Tipster MLC is now on three in a row selecting the ‘Phins.

Main Competition

A Standout catastrophe sees UpthePamfers relinquish the lead. The Creator takes over ahead of Bart Simpson.

Chunka, MB and Control finish off the prize monies this week.

It’s Magic Round so keep an eye out for my weekly preview and my selections this week.

Bart Simpson Weekly Jackpot

blakey86 so close but no cigar. The only Tipster who picked the Eels also thought the Raiders were going to be winners.

Which means the Bart Simpson Weekly Jackpot is now B$30.

As always, good luck with your team and tipping this week.
