All things went pretty much to plan this weekend for most punters ;
The Cowboys destroyed the Titans 32 – 6. A depleted Panthers team still had no problems in rolling over the Bulldogs 30 – 18. While the Sea Eagles blew the Warriors off 4 Pines Park 44 – 12 (the half time score was 24 – 0 with Manly missing a few other opportunities to totally humiliate the Warriors).
Most tippers (56 out of 69) thought that the tricolours would have enough to outclass the Raiders in Canberra yesterday. But that was not to be – the Raiders led the game from go to woe by scoring first in the 8th minute and were never headed. But it was their try line defence that got them home. The Raiders enjoyed only 46 % of the possession, made 330 tackles and had 40 tackle breaks (aka missed tackles) recorded against them. Despite all that they still managed to get the 2 points 22 – 16 and keep their top 8 aspirations alive.
Main Competition
The popular score this week was 5 with the majority of our top 10 – they all missed out on that one game. So we still have Murch leading from Panthers29 and Turbohamstrings. The big mover was our very own The Creator who moves up 16 places and into 6th place, fluky fullcard giving him the max possible score of 8.
