Panthers On Top
There were a few nervous Tipsters at the start of the round when the Eels scored two converted tries and seemed to be on top of the world in the opening 15 minutes against the Panthers.
But just like the 2022 Grand Final, that most don’t remember, that was it.
The question now is who will challenge the Cleary’s?

Mathematically, only the Dragons will miss the Top 4. Reality says you can add the Broncos, Titans and Storm. With the Raiders, Sea Eagles and Bulldogs on the fringe.
So, it’s a race between the Roosters, Wah’s, Sharks, Rabbitohs, Knights and Cows.
I’m crossing out the Bunnies due to injuries. The Knights, Cows and Wah’s are so unpredictable, but the idea of a Panthers v Roosters/Sharks GF makes me cheer these three teams on even more.

Freaky Friday
The Roosters won courtesy of former Gold Coast legend DCE’s field goal.
The Rabbitohs won courtesy of a 40/20 mishap by the Storm.
I would say the better teams lost both these games.
Super Saturday
The Raiders did what all but Lukebrookesbiggestfan expected and that was to roll the dysfunctional Wests Tigers.
The Bulldogs usual three tries were enough to defeat the Wah’s that has many (well, at least me) questioning their premiership credentials.
The final match saw the Cowboys also knock the reigning premiers into 2027. Don’t worry Broncos fans, 2027 will be a very good year for you.
Sunday Football
We watched the final matches of round 21 at boutique grounds.
The Dragons had all to play for and celebrating King Gutho’s 250th match. While King Gutho’s former club, Manly were looking at arresting a hattrick of losses.
Both were epic fails. Two more teams ready for Mad Monday.
