From the battle of the Westies to the battle of self-proclaimed ‘god’s country’ beaches, this round is very tricky.

The Sure Bets

The round starts with what looks like an obvious standout choice between the Eels and Panthers.

But the Panthers have lost three from their last five starts and costing many Tipsters -2s along the way. Can they be trusted this week? You bet they can.

The Raiders host the toothless Wests Tigers in Raider-ville. This is the other Standout option with the Raiders winning their last three matches and the Tiges losing their last five.

The Toss of a Coin Games

Friday sees the Knights host the Roosters at McDonald Jones Stadium. They are staring down a 3rd loss while the Chooks just keep on winning. This should be a great game to watch.

This game is followed up by two injury riddled teams in the Rabbitohs v Storm.

On Super Saturday, it’s the inform Bulldogs v 2nd placed Warriors.

If that’s hard enough, it’s off to Kogarah on Sunday with the spoon bowl match between the Dragons and Titans.

Match of the Round

The Cowboys are looking to end the Broncos season and premiership defense all in one hit. This game sees the return of Clifford and Dearden in the Cows halves and will be a test to see if last week’s Broncs resurgence was a one off.

This will be a tight high scoring affair in front of a sell-out Cows crowd.

In the Other Game

Manly take on Sharks. It’s the final match of the round so it’s very much optional viewing here.
