Easy round. 15 full cards !! (Yes the jackpot pool remains in tact). The stats for the week tell the tale. 5 of games went pretty much to plan – most tippers picking the Sportsbet favourites. (Parra did make hard work in their game against the Titans – they scraped in with a Moses Mitchell field goal with just 5 minutes to play to take the points 25 – 24).
Two matches had the punters split ;
Cowboys (37) vs Manly (20) – The Cowboys winning their 5th straight match 19 – 8.
Warriors (31) vs Sharks (26) – On paper it looked like a toss of the coin with both teams sitting pretty in the top 8. It didn’t pan out that way. The Warriors destroying the visitors 44 – 12. After a slow start, they put on 4 tries in 11 minutes before half time and lead 22 – 6 going to the break. In the end it was 8 tries to 2. The win takes the Warriors into 5th spot on the ladder.

Our leaders STILL are playing it safe (naturally). The top 3 – Big Baba, I miss Benji and TheZipZipMan all scored full cards and still head the ladder. The big mover was DaveM (also with a full card jumping 5 places and into 4th spot.
Missing just 1 game proved costly for Guru2810, Budgie and UpthePamfers who all dropped 2 spots (but still in the $$$)
2nd Chance Competition
UpthePamfers, only missing that 1 game has been relegated to 7th place. I miss Benji now leads on 711 points from 9986 (on 693) and Splinter only 1 point behind him.
