It is the ”Battle For The Spoon” with teams 16th taking on 17th at Wollongong on Thursday night.
Last year’s spoon holders Wests Tigers take on the Dragons.
The Wests Tigers must win to try and avoid back to back spoons. They are anchored to the bottom of the ladder two points adrift from their rivals with only the Bulldogs with a worse differential score.
The Bulldogs still have another Bye up their sleave so should not feature here.
The Wests Tigers have won just three games this season including against the Dragons in round 10. In the last five years the Tiges have beaten the Dragons 5 – 1. With what is happening at both clubs I wasn’t tipping either team again this season, however, I don’t have a choice here.
Is Luke Brooks returning? Is Ben Hunt going to continue to kick stones?
If the Wests Tigers manage a victory, it will come down to which team gets hammered more in the final rounds.
This will be one interesting game.
