Congratulations again to the NRL for another successful ANZAC Day round for 2023. All 8 games were previewed with members of our armed forces and the Last Post and Reveille were performed. All clubs were sporting special jerseys designed to pay tribute to Australian and New Zealand forces.
If you were not able to get to a dawn service yesterday, or hit your local RSL for a rum and milk or rum and coffee, play some two up, you could have simply attended or watched one of the 8 games staged for round 8 to be able to spend a few moments in quiet reflection for our fallen servicemen and servicewomen.
The footy didn’t fail either ;
The Roosters pipped the Dragons by a field goal. The Bunnies ran down the premiers in the last 5 minutes of their clash to take the prize. The Dolphins came back from a 26 – nil scoreline to steal a win over the Titans. The Sea Eagles avoided a massive embarrassment by scraping home to defeat the lowly Tigers.

Guru2810 and Big Baba both had scores of 9 and continue s at the top of the ladder – Guru2810 maintains his 2 point break though. TheZipZipMan holds on to 3rd place. Special mention to MLC who was the big mover for the week – up 12 places and into 5th spot.
