Round 4 marked a poor round for most of our tippers. Our average score was a measly 4.29. Three games in particular seems to have had the biggest impact ;
The Rabbitohs found some form and powered through the Roosters, with three 2nd half tries to claim their first win of the season 28 – 16. Tippers – Only 19 on Rabbits: 56 on Roosters
The Cowboys simply outclassed the Broncos in the Queensland Derby by 38 – 12. Valentine Holmes and Jeremiah Nanai starred in the 6 try to 2 upset victory – Nania grabbing 3 of those tries. Tippers – Only 3 on Cowboys: 72 on the Broncos
In arguably the match of the round, the Eels delivered the Storm their first loss of the year (28 – 24) in Golden Point. Canny tippers would have recalled that Parramatta proved a thorn in the Storms side beating them twice last season. Clearly we have very few canny tippers as 66 tipped the Storm, with 18 of them seeing them as their standout.
The game went tit-for-tat for the first 80 minutes. When the Mullet scored in the 75th minute, the scores were again locked – this time at 24 all. Both teams had unsuccessful field goal attempts before the final siren and the game went to GP. Three minutes in, Mitchell Moses lined for up a 32 metre field goal attempt, but clearly aimed at the righthand upright looking for that fortuitous bounce. Ray Stone, (who also scored in the 70th minute), seemed to be the only player who thought to chase the kick, then pounced on the ricocheting ball to score the winning try (and possibly his last for the season, ripping his knee apart as he stepped of his right to get the ball down).

Footy Tipper has finally crashed from the lead (with a disappointing score of 1) and human beings now hold the first 4 positions. T-Bone leads the field on 23 points from Panthers29, PabloW (no relation) and 9986 (aka – Get Smart) who all sit on 22.
Special mention to Yakkas who scored the round high of 9, elevating him from 58th to 29th place on the ladder,
