Winners are grinners.
We are now down to 2…. Cruella and Krusty. The Panthers and Rabbitohs have earned their place in next Sundays big one.
The Rabbitohs had the Sea Eagles trying to chase down an unassailable lead from the 12th minute to the 80th. Manly had no answer to the bunnies going down 7 tries to 3 in a 36 – 16 rout.
For the 2nd week in a row, the Panthers held out some strong opposition (as would be expected at this time of the year). The match put on display the best defensive team in 2021 (Panthers) against the best attacking team in 2021 (Storm). In the end, defence won out. The Panthers booking their place in the Grand Final with a 10 – 6 win.
Wayne Bennett certainly had reason to smile – not just the fact he got the chance to dump on the Broncos hierarchy after Souths victory, but that the Panthers are hurting bad. It all shapes up for a fabulous GF next weekend.

We have a new leader – Cruella ….. and now in 2nd place comes Krusty.
Both tippers are the only punters to have correctly picked 7 / 8 matches. Cruella holds 1st place by virtue of a more accurate margin selection of 21 points on Krusty.
But all is not lost with only the Grand Final to be played. There are a further 11 tippers ALL on 6 points, and mathematically, still in the hunt. Let’s face it, either team can win next week.
