As expected, the Knights and Titans bow out of the GF race of 2021 with losses to the Roosters and Eels. A 77th minute Sam Walker field goal booked the Roosters a spot in next weeks Semis. While a 76th minute penalty try to Will Penisini, booked the Eels a berth in a local derby against the Panthers (albeit in Queensland).
The Storm and Bunnies earn the week off with victories over Manly and Penrifff. The Rabbitohs win over the Panthers upset most punters, with only 2 of us seeing that coming. Was the win as a result of the cunning and intimidation of Wayne Bennett during the week …….. or did Souths just outplay them ? Oh …..and Stinky Manly just simply got smacked by the Storm.
Prize Money
So the final counts comes in with 30 players. That equates to a prize pool of $300 and we will be paying out 1st – 3rd place getters.

Ladder Leaders
There were no fullcards this week, and there is an interesting twist in the leaderboard (at least one I wouldn’t have expected).
Splinter heads the table with 3 wins, 108 point differential and margin of 33. He leads from Cruella also on 3 wins, 103 point differential and a better margin of 32. So while Cruella was more accurate on picking the winning margins, her teams scored less points, thus leaving her in 2nd place.
isha68 (who ran 70th in the season proper) currently sits in 3rd place and in the money. Those roughies finally paid off.
