Did this crash tackle on the way to the dressing rooms at half time cost the Doggies ? Leading 12 – 10 Lewis was rightly sinbinned for the first 10 minutes for instigating the melee that ensued. Souths came out after the break and took full advantage of the 13/12 man difference and ran away with the match 32 – 24. The Dogs pretty much have the wooden spoon sorted, but Lewis (who does not have a contract for next season) might be looking for a new home in 2022.
