I trust everyone survived the big wet that was last weekend. Tipster Budgie had a minor incident losing a tree due to the deluge (does anyone need some timber for winter ? Pick up only – and bring your own chainsaw).
The rain didn’t dampen the quality of play at Bankwest Stadium on Thursday night. The Eels prevailing 16 – 12 over the Storm. In a tight tussle for the first 75 minutes. it took a late try to Maiko Siva to seal the 2 points for the Snakes.
The Knights made it 2 from 2 beating the Warriors 20 – 16. A late try to Hymel Hunt (74th minute) gave the Knights a well deserved victory.
Fifita the high paid defector from the Broncos picked up 2 tries in the Titans win over his old club. Final score Titans 28 – Broncos 16.
The Panthers rolled the Bulldogs 28 – 0. The Panthers have yet to concede a point this season. I hope that streak continues at least for one more week (when the meet the Storm).

The Dragons handed the Cowboys their 2nd straight loss, with a pleasing win 25 – 18.
The Roosters outclassed the Wests Tigers 40 – 6 scoring 7 tries to 1 (with Brett Morris picking up a hat-trick).
The Raiders inched out the Sharks 12 – 10. John Morris refused to blame poor goal kicking on the loss despite the fact Townsend only kicked 1 from 4 – instead blaming a high error rate. By my maths I reckon he’s wrong.

Yes, great tipping. Top 10 again after round two. Good luck to all players and never give up. I think a sure bet is the Defending Champion can’t back up. I don’t think a defending champion has ever backed up for the history of this tipping competition.
