Cut-off Times for this week…

Thursday 27th August 2020 – Eels vs Rabbitohs 7:50pm AEST

A fairly predictable round of footy last weekend.  

• The Eels put last weeks humiliating loss to the Dragons behind them to pants the Storm 14 – 0. Apparently, it is the first time in 6 years that the Storm have failed to score a point.
• The Panthers had no trouble in their match against the Sharks, getting up 38 – 12. Their record-breaking run continues.
• The Dragons made it back to back wins by scraping in against the Broncos 28 – 24.
• The Raiders did it easily against the Titans (naturally) 36 – 16.
• A depleted Roosters squad also had an easy win over the Tigers 38 – 16.
• The Bunnies did it easily against Stinky Manly 56 – 16. They will be disappointed with the 40 point towelling though – they were up 38 – 0 at half time but failed to go on with the demolition.
• The Warriors managed to get over the Doggies in a tight game 20 – 14. I feel sorry for the Bulldogs – always so close but no cigar. Wooden spoon doesn’t seem fitting.
• The Knights eventually put the Cowboys away in a dour match 12 – 0.

Main Competition – Ladder Leaders

We had 11 full cards this week, and Mary McGregor was one of them. He has now opened his lead up to 4 points, with chasers Robbie’s Back and BigBadBenji scoring only 7 and 9 respectively.
