<\/figure>\n\n\n\nThe round started in the nation’s capital where the Dolphins held on to beat the Raiders. The game was see-sawing with the Raiders clawing back to within two points before the ‘Phins hit an eight-point lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Raiders Coach Ricky Stuart was at his Teflon best unhappy with the way the game was adjudicated with just one penalty blown in the 1st half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I’ve never been so confused” Sticky stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am with you on this one too Sticky but for other reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have never been so confused as to how the Raiders lost a game at home against a Dolphins team missing four Origin players, half Kodi Nikorima, and the late withdrawal of Herbie Farnwoth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But then I remember the turning point was in Round 27 last year when Ricky rested his entire team to get smashed 62-24 by this very same team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Out came the red pen and the minor premiers were gone and are now a shadow of that team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Storm looked unassailable with an 18-6 halftime lead, but it was the efforts by Doggie Jack Underhill that lifted the crowd which in turn lifted his teammates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s been weeks since I have seen the Bulldogs with so much energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lachlan Galvin was good, Jacob Kiraz great, Matt Burton big, and Bonson Xerri huge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The big question is can the Bulldogs continue this resurgence when they take on the Wests Tigers at Campbelltown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dragons had plenty of red zone possession but once again showed they cannot score tries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At Brookvale, the Sea Eagle continued their winning form with a two-point win over the Titans. The Sea Eagles had all the stats in their favour but somehow managed to keep the Titans in the game with Jayden Campbell being the best on ground for the losing team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cowboys proved too strong for the Bunnies in what was an entertaining match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
