Lest We Forget<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

ANZAC Day<\/strong> is the most important day on the calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a day to remember the men and women who have fought and made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedom and liberties we all enjoy today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take the time to attend a Dawn Service or, continue with last year\u2019s dawn candle light ceremony at the front yard\/street of your home. If you see a returned service man or woman, take some time to say hello and thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you enjoy the weekend, please spare a thought for those who have made this possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANZAC Round<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Roosters and Dragons clash may be the jewel, but there are seven other ANZAC Round matches this weekend<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This is my favourite round of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All teams walking out shoulder to shoulder, brothers in arms, to the applause of the crowd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eight matches. Eight last posts, minute of silence, reveille, Australian <\/strong>and New Zealand<\/strong> national anthems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No code does this better than the NRL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the Game, Clubs, Players, Supporters and Returned Service Men and Women all coming together. This is the round of respect and positive energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ANZAC Day<\/span><\/strong><\/strong> clash between the Roosters <\/span><\/strong>and Dragons<\/span><\/strong> is the highlight club match of the season. The atmosphere is unlike any other game and is a must if you haven\u2019t experienced this before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following this game, the Storm <\/span>take on the Warriors<\/strong>, in Melbourne, in their traditional ANZAC Day clash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And for the first time, ANZAC Day<\/span><\/strong> will kick-off with the Wests Tigers<\/strong><\/span> v Sea Eagles<\/span><\/strong> at 1:45pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supporters of all clubs should take time to attend a match this weekend as all Clubs honour returned and fallen heroes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
