Well, this looks like a straightforward round.
After two weeks of awesome football, there had to be a lull at some point.
The round starts with what would have been a blockbuster had the Storm still had players available.
The Panthers form has not been good losing the last two matches and winning just twice in the last five rounds. The Storm’s record is worse with just one win and the bye in the last five rounds.
Still, this should be an entertaining match for all Cleary supporters.
The same could be said with the Raiders v Broncos with the Raiders looking for revenge for last year’s finals capitulation.
Both teams are gone for the season with the reigning premiers winning just once since Round 9 (that’s 15 weeks). If the Raiders win, I’m not sure what that revenge will look like. Still no trophy in the cabinet.
This theme goes throughout the round. Expect wins from the ‘Phins, Knights, Sharks and Roosters.
The Bunnies have named Latrell (no not Siegwalt) on the bench, but the Wah’s should still win this one.
The highlight match may well be the Dragons v Bulldogs at Allianz Stadium.
The Dragons will be looking for revenge after the controversial finish in Las Vegas. At least their revenge will be ending any finals hopes for their neighbouring Doggies.
