Round 17 starts with the match of the round between competition leaders the Bulldogs v back in the Top 8, and Premiers(x4), Panthers.
The round ends with an all-Queensland affair between cellar dweller candidates Titans v Cowboys. In fact, if the Cows hadn’t drawn with the Panthers earlier this year it would be this week’s Spoon bowl.
The Experts
The Experts all agree Friday and Sunday are one sided affairs but are split with the remainder of the round.
Interestingly, Dragons’ diehard Carlos has opted to death ride his team this week. As a fellow Dragons supporter, it would be disappointing if they go down to the Eels for the second time this season. You can add that to the three 1-point losses and a loss to the Wests Tigers.
