ANZAC day is the most important day on our calendar.
Not just for Australia and New Zealand but also our friends in PNG and the Pacific.
ANZAC Day is the day we reflect on the liberties we all take for granted. The men and women who fought for us. Those that survived and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Whatever your plans are for the day, whether attending a dawn service, watching the march, catching up with friends or family, or simply enjoying the wonderful autumn weather, please find time to reflect on the day.
If you see a returned serviceman, shake their hand, say thank you and start a conversation.
If you are out playing two-up or watching the footy, enjoy.
This round is where the NRL and all the Clubs are second to none. Not only do they celebrate the day, but the entire round is dedicated to the ANZACS.
The big games on ANZAC Day, Roosters v Dragons, Warriors v Knights, Storm v Rabbitohs are worthy of fans of any team to attend.
However, all matches will see teams walk out shoulder to shoulder, the national anthems, ode, the minute silence. All will be slightly different, and I look forward to watching every one of them.
The first one starts tomorrow with the Broncos v Bulldogs.
If there is one round to go out and watch your favourite team this, is it.
Enjoy the weekend Tipsters.
Less we forget.
