Our Queensland Correspondent hasn’t got a clue about what he is saying. Always complaining about his bad back carrying trophies.
Where was Queensland when NSW carried the entire country during COVID19?

In case you didn’t read his article here is a link below, but don’t, just don’t. Two minutes of your life you will never get back.
Anyway, back to the Game.
Queensland are in the box seat. Generally, the team that wins the first game wins the series. Generally.

NSW Blues
The Blues did not turn up in Game 1. But did Coach Fittler pick the right team?
It’s easy to go with pick and stick like the great Queensland team of the past. Easy for them when there are four potential immortals playing at the same time.
But Freddy didn’t. He dropped Josh Addo-Carr and Jake Trbojevic in reaction to Queensland picking wingers Xavier Coates and Selwyn Cobbo
Well, Jake is back. The Fox still doesn’t get a look in because of both the Blues wingers performances. But there are nine changes to the extended squad which means Coach Fittler earthing his feet was wrong in Game 1.
This is a real concern. Without powerhouses Tommy Turbo or Latrell, the Blues look vulnerable. It will take the Penrith connection to get the Blues over the line. Take out the halves, Isaah Yeo is the most important player in the team. A forward that runs forward but is also a halfback with his passing game.
He is the key for victory.
QLD Maroons
One word describes Queensland in Game 1.
Magnificent!
Cameron Munster. The back-line. The bench players. The Ben Hunt and Harry Grant combination.
All the changes to the Blues team is because of this.
The Maroons are basically unchanged bar an injury to winger Xavier Coates. They will be hard to beat.
The Bookies have NSW as favourites (as usual) for the match, but Queensland to win the series. This will be close but I have to back my state while there is life, and back Freddy’s changes.
We go to a decider at Suncorp Stadium.
