What a great weekend of match-ups we have in store. It is the top four teams from the regular season battling out for Grand Final places.
Premliminary Final 1
We start on friday with Wayne Bennett’s hardened Rabbitohs v Tommy Trbojevic and his feathered friends.
The Rabbitohs have had the benefit of the week off, have form, and will be under immense pressure having fallen short at this game in the past two years.
The big question is “Will this be the farewell game of Rabbitohs legends Adam Reynolds and Wayne Bennett?”
This will be close. The Bunnies have won 13 of their last 14 matches while the Sea Eagles have won 11 in the same time-frame.
For Souths supporters, the answer is a simple. Stop Tommy and you win.
Preliminary Final 2
Saturday sees the 2020 Grand Final rematch. Storm v Panthers and only one team will survive.
This Premiership is the Storm’s to lose and I have a bad news for all Panthers fans. Penrith’s form over the last quarter of the competition is not up to scratch with the remaining finalists.
If the Panthers lose, watch your premiership window slam shut. And… Gus was right!
There are clear favourites this weekend but both matches are a two horse race.
This is finals footy at it’s purist and it will be fabulous!
Good luck with your tipping and your team.
