The Brisbane Broncos womens team is at polar opposite ends to their male counterparts. Where the NRL team collected their 1st woodenspoon, the NRLW have taken out their 3rd title defeating the Roosters 20-10.
The Broncos held out a spirited Roosters team to lead 12-10 at half time before a second half shutout saw the favourites win despite the Roosters having 57% possession.
The Broncos are a real juggernaut in the womens competition having now won all three NRLW seasons with only one lost against the Warriors in 2019.
Amber Hall was awarded the Karyn Murphy Medal for best on ground.
