The NRL regular season is almost over.
We want to find out who the Ultimate footy tipper is for 2020, so we have come up with the ultimate tipping challenge. Finals footy tipping.
The NRL finals series consists of 4 weekends of footy. A total of 9 matches. 1 team ends up the premiers for 2020 on Sunday 25th October 2020.
Our proposal;
- Entry fee $10.00
- One tipsheet each week which will be accessible ONLY via this website
- Pick your winners each week
- Select the winning margin for each game
- No tips – no points !
Scoring
– Players receive 1 point per win (NO bonus points for full card and NO standout selection)
– Differential point scoring system to apply (as per our regular comp)
– Margin – deviation from selected margin to be calculated (obviously the lower the margin
the better).
For example – Roosters 30 beat Broncos 20. Therefore winning margin = Roosters by 10
o Players selecting Roosters to win by say 6 points get 4 points (ie 10 minus 6)
o Players selecting Roosters to win by 20 points get 10 points (ie 20 minus 10)
o Players selecting Broncos by 6 points get 16 points (ie 10 plus 6)
o Players selecting Broncos by 20 points get 30 points (ie 20 plus 10)
So winner will be determined by (and in order of) ;
– Total of wins selected (highest)
– Selected teams differential score (highest) and
– Selected Margin (lowest)
Prize money
- ALL entry fees received will be paid out in prize money. Prize money will depend on the number of players competing and will be advised at the completion of week 1 of the Finals.
