VNRL: Warriors pull off upset win of season to defeat red hot Sea Eagles
Threatened with deportation to north Queensland, the Warriors defied the odds and expectations by knocking over the Sea Eagles at Brookie 28 – 11 emulating their Round 21 win in 2019. Stephen Kearney and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (I love that name) were seen embracing after the match defying all social distancing rules.
In other matches ;

- The Sharkies go 0 – 3 for the season getting done by the Knights 32 – 18 at their new “home” in Kogarah
- The Panthers are enjoying their best start to a season in years. They notched their third straight win by getting over the Storm 25 – 12
- The Eels maintain their spot at top of the ladder with a convincing win over the Cowboys 33 -5.
