The Sydney Roosters have followed up their back to back NRL Premierships with consecutive World Club Championships defeating Super League Champions, St Helens 20-12 in front of a packed boutique crowd of 16000+.
The Roosters’ win is a record 5th World Club Championship, and, their first hitout since the NRL Grand Final, missing 2019 stars Boyd Cordner, Cooper Cronk and Latrell Mitchell.
Meanwhile, the Saints have had the privilege of a home ground advantage and a month in their 2020 Super League title defence to prepare. There looks to be no stopping the Roosters who will again be heavyweight competitors this season.
Last year I stated no team would win back to back premierships since the mighty Broncos 92-93 teams.
This year I state no team will win a three-peat since the mighty Eels 81-83 teams.
This will be music to the ears of all Roosters supporters.
Not the real Saints…
Pommies – not Dragons
